I have been working in the field of diabetes for 28 years, in a tertiary setting, community setting and private practice as a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. This has included research, many working parties to improve quality of care for people living with diabetes and staff working in diabetes. I have been Credentialled since 1998, and am very passionate about providing support, counselling and information in a person-centred approach to assist people living with diabetes achieve their best outcomes. I have had the privilege to volunteer on the continuing education committee, complaints committee and be involved in national projects through ADEA.
